Donna Helete
Executive Director and Board Member

Donna is passionate about education and community. As Executive Director, she brings with her ten years of experience with a public non-profit charter school. For six of those years she was employed in administration, working with finances, governing board and personnel. A Central Coast resident for over 20 years, she’s enjoying getting to know her own backyard as a student of the Kamana naturalist training program. She attended Art of Mentoring with Jon Young and develops her tracking skills with the Central Coast Trackers Guild. She believes in providing educational options for families within a supportive community.

Marie Mcree
Community Outreach

Marie

Marie's experience ranges from teaching in public schools to serving on the board of Bellevue School (a small local public charter) to painting, singing and the art of Mothering. Marie is constantly tying up loose ends and facilitating more than we could list here. She is also the voice you hear when you phone the CCVC (541-9900).

Casey Pera
Safety Advisor

Casey is a paramedic firefighter in the Bay Area. He brings his awareness of hazards to the nuts and bolts of the organization from van maintenence to kid safety. He is also the parent of a Nature School kid and resident of Hawk's Perch!

Lindsay Pera - Lindsay landed herself in the countryside after a successful stint in the Bay Area corporate world. She brings clarity, organization, and magic to all that we do at the CCVC. Lindsay along with her family, parents and inlaws support the CCVC program in offering a place for the tipi on their home ranch at Hawk's Perch in Templeton.

Susan Pendergast - Susan was attracted to the natural wonders of the Central Coast upon discovering it in the late ‘70’s and has never taken the magic of the place for granted. She has a B.A. and M.A. in Special Education and brings skills as an educator, counselor, author, grant writer, gardener, and entrepreneur to the CCVC learning community. When not pursuing her love of the plant kingdom and all things herbal or the satisfaction of a good book and a well-written story, Susan can be found exploring life with her daughter, who is a Full Circle teen.
